Lina , only seen Her

Lina, only seen her, a dozen times or two, 
Dedicated beautiful mother ; her family’s the proof
U could see it , Like a flower, 
The true love for her man 

Lina, only seen her, but didn’t know her too well
Seen the fruits of her life and the story they tell

It’s in her Son, his wife and the boys they have raised 
Seen Lina , as she smiled at the boys when they played   
Then she’d hug them— just love them
Shower them with her praise 

Lina, only seen her, a dozen times or two
Seen the sorrow and the pain
when she was taken too soon

Don’t say she’s gone ; for that is wrong - pass it on
All the things she taught you 
do for others, teach your sons 
let her shine through
